It's not a competition!
It’s okay to come in last.
It’s okay to not be picked first and it doesn’t matter if you’re fast.
What matters is you tried and that you gave it your best shot.
You tried to DO something, even though they told you you could not.
And whilst you may not have won there is one thing I’m certain,
You’ll still be having fun once they’ve dropped the final curtain.
Because life isn’t a play to finish, or a game to be won.
We don’t tell the moon its life is over when the night says goodbye and we welcome the sun.
We tell them keep going! And that we’ll see them tomorrow!
Because we know that we need them for the cycles we follow.
For life never ends,
it’s like a clock with no fight,
it just keeps going,
because it knows what is right,
It knows that Life is about everything.
The good times and the bad,
And If we only strived to finish it all
We’d find ourselves rather sad.
For all those dreams we said goodbye to far too soon
We’ll regret our decisions that we based on what others do.
Fortunately for you,
if you’ve made that mistake,
you’ve also made plenty of room.
So go live your own life.

Everything is Fine.
Everything is fine.
No, really, I actually mean that….
Isn’t it weird when you can simply stop—
Look around and see there’s not even a plot—
Nothing to worry and no reason to hide.
You can start your day with a sense of pride!
For mistakes—haven’t even happened….yet.
But you’ll know what to do when they do. Bet.
Because you took the………..…time..ugh.
To get your head in line,
And that’s why I say…….
Everything is fine.
No really.
I mean it.

And not a hint of too much.
Maybe you speak with a fiery ambition,
Or maybe you squeak with zero volition.
Maybe you wonder if it’s wrong to sing songs for far too long

in fact there’s no other way,
